HELENA, Mont. — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) has updated its Storm Water Management Program and is asking for public feedback on the revised document to help further protect water quality. MDT’s current Storm Water Management Plan is available online at mdt.mt.gov/pubinvolve/stormwater/.

MDT’s Storm Water Management Program is intended to reduce the discharge of pollutants from transportation infrastructure into local surface waters. This program is planned to be refined throughout its implementation to further protect Montana’s waterways.

The public is welcome to review and provide comments for the draft Storm Water Management Program. The 30-day comment period will begin on Monday, June 30, beginning at 8 a.m., and will end on Wednesday, July 30, at 3 p.m.
